Welcome to the Mayo community and to Rochester, Minnesota! Rochester is a growing city that has vibrant restaurants and annual events. While the transition to a new place can be challenging, we hope these resources will be helpful in making your transition easier.

The MFC has put together a welcome guide full of essential information for your transition to Rochester. We are in the process of updating this handbook, but in the meantime, we hope this one from 2019 will still provide helpful information.

Employment

Daycare

Mayo has a childcare referral service that is complementary for Clinic employees. Contact Mayo Human Resources at 507-266-0440 and to be referred to a company that contacts local childcare providers on your behalf, based on your childcare needs.
